Caleb loved greeting Henry every morning!

Can you believe this is our baby! Check out his neck...he's taking the whole food storage thing very seriously :)

Henry and I were able to stay a couple days with some friends that just moved back out to Kansas City. We love the Greens!

We took the kids to a great petting zoo outside of the city. Don't Caleb and Matilda make a cute couple :)

And We're Off...

Don't worry, we are back :) Emily and I decided to drive out to Kansas City very last minute. We packed up the van (her very nice Toyota Sienna), threw the kids in (3 under the age of 2 1/2), and drove 17 hours straight! It really wasn't so bad. It was a great weekend to drive halfway across the country, the leaves were beautiful! The kids did really well and it was nice spending the time with my sister (since we NEVER get to see each other or talk! )

Kentucky was all rolling hills and trees.

Indiana looked just like the movie "Hoosiers"!

Flashback

Hey Everybody, I've noticed people checking our blog and Gena has been out of town with our camera and Henry. These are from waaaayyy back when we went on our honeymoon in Maine. We went to Rangley, Maine and Bar Harbor, Maine in May of 2004. These are a few photos from there, most of these are from Rangley, which is moose country. It'll be nice to have Gena and Henry back home soon. I'll have to find a picture of a moose and post it also....hmmmmm..

Where in the World...?

Don't worry, we haven't fallen off the face of the Earth! Henry and I went out of town at the last second this past weekend. We will have all sorts of exciting pictures when we return this weekend. If I can figure out how to download the pictures while we are away, I'll post a few.

Temple Trip

Henry and I went to the temple yesterday with Emily, Jake, Caleb and Gracie. I spent a few hours outside of the temple with the kids...3 of them....under the age of 3! Mike was relaxing in accounting classes :) We actually had a great time. Thank goodness for the Ergo and a double stroller!

We spent some time in the Visitors' Center. Caleb was so excited to see Jesus and listen to what he had to say!

We also hung out behind the temple in the shade. It was in the 80s! Henry's cousins sure do love him. I spent the whole time coming up with a plan just in case Caleb decided to take off!!!

Pumpkin Patch

Henry and I went to a pumpkin patch on Monday afternoon with some friends.

We decided on an ornamental pumpkin since Henry can't grip a carving knife yet :)

The pumpkin patch also has a petting zoo. This poor calf was in a pin beside a feisty llama. I knew llamas spit, I had just never seen it happen. This poor guy's face was the receiving end of an angry llama's spit!

LDS Stake Picnic

We had a big church picnic this past Saturday. It was a beautiful day, but it started to get a little chilly towards the end. Henry was prepared! He is even more fun to cuddle with when he is wrapped in fleece :)

There were so many things to do at the picnic. They had hay yards, canoes and fishing at the pond, softball, tractors to climb on, music, and tons of food! These jumpy things (I don't know what they are called) made me look forward to when Henry is running around.

Where do I even start. No title would do these justice. I sat here this morning looking at these photographs again and tears ran down my face. What a precious gift. Thank you Ashley. These photos were taken in the beginning of September, Henry was about 5 weeks old.
