A Lovely Difference

Now that I am spending my days at home, I'm realizing what a huge difference the little things make. For instance, a made bed is a wonderful thing to crawl into at the end of a long day. I started the habit toward the end of my pregnancy when I started working parttime. I love walking into our bedroom throughout the day and finding our bed made. It makes the room seem more peaceful. I love an afternoon nap on top of our fluffy down comforter with Henry. If you're not a bed maker, just give it a try. You'll never go back :)

Did I mention that this is not our bed. It's a set that I loved in Pottery Barn.

The Upgrade

Henry has outgrown his baby bathtub. By the time we were done with his bath last time, the bathroom was covered in water. He's quite the mover and the shaker :) This morning he played in the big bathtub. He wanted to show his rolls off to you guys!

Amazing Lilly

So I haven't figured out how to put something from YouTube on my blog. Until I do, you all HAVE to check out Lilly. I love how she pronounces all the countries too!

Gracie

Ashley also took these pictures of Gracie (Henry's cousin) when she was visiting.

Precious

Many of you have commented on the beautiful pictures my sister has taken for our family (the bump and newborn). This is her "mentor", Ashley Anderson. They were roommates in college. Ashley is so talented and has taken amazing pictures of our family. We are so grateful for these priceless treasures.
These are the only three I have right now (she emailed them to us), but I'll post more when they arrive.

Sleeping on the Job

Mike found us napping on Sunday afternoon. There's not much better than this!

Our Purple People Eater

Henry and I have been battling an impossible case of thrush since about week 2. I knew of a remedy called gentian violet, but had been avoiding it for obvious reasons. It stains everything (including that cute outfit and our sheets)! Though I must say, he pulls off JMU purple quite well.
